gotosleeep asked: So I watched the entire Nightmare On Elm Street series last week, but why...was the 2010 remake so fucking bad? I hate how they changed the actual house to a fucking day care, where's the nightmare on actual Elm street?! And what's with the melted cheese face and Batman voice?
well the series is actually good up to the new nightmare were nancy has a kid and shes the actress… bad movie but has some good parts & 2 was pretty bad too but has the greatest opening scene in the whole series (the school bus)….. the remake was terrible. like in the 80s they didnt want to focus too much on the pedophilia & this one tthats all they focused on. its trippy how w/ all this technolgy wes craven still had a better scene of nancys friend being dragged through the walls… the actor in the remake is actually a great actor he was in little children w/ kate winslet which he also plays a pedophile great movie & hes in the watchmen but no amount of acting could save that script!!!
